Hi! I'm Ishan, and I am a junior at Stanford University studying Computer Science and Mathematics. I was born and raised in Fremont, California and moved to Stanford my freshman year. I had a passion for economics and public policy in high school which slowly has transitioned into computer science, mathematics, and more specifically, the intersection between solving pressing problems through technology. I am currently looking to work in more AI/ML roles, but have done work with growth, marketing, product, software engineering, data, and finance in the past.
I'm currently looking for an internship for Summer 2024 as well as research/startup opportunities for Spring 2024. If you have a position, please feel free to reach out!

This project implements malloc, free, and realloc in a more efficient manner to optimize heap allocation. It uses techniques such as coalescing and achieves 70% optimization in the explicit (doubly linked list) case.
I built this personal website from scratch using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
This project uses NLP and ML techniques such as vector embeddings, transformers, cosine similarity, and edit distance to create a fully interactive chatbot that recommends movies based on given preferences.
I got into DJing last year and have been doing it as a hobby ever since. I'm currently into mixing rap and hip/hop but have had phases with rock, indie, and pop. I have done a few frat parties and other social events on campus but am hoping to keep practicing to eventually mix at clubs and larger events. If you are interested in DJing or have any advice and/or gigs, feel free to reach out!
I'm the director for Stanford Robber Barons, Stanford's largest sketch comedy group. Although I am more focused on directing, every member writes, acts, edits, and rehearses. I've been in the group for a little over a year and have found a passion for comedy and performances. So far, we have performed with sketch comedy clubs from USC, Dartmouth, Cal, Emerson, UCSD, and more.
